Visit to St. Marina at Polemidia

Last Sunday 25th January, 2009 our Archbishop visited the church of St. Marina at Polemidia where he celebrated the Mass at 10.30 a.m. After that he had lunch at the Maronite Youth Club with all parishioners and the Mayor of Polemidia in a warm and family atmosphere.

In the afternoon, he started his pilgrimage from St. Charbel church with the relics of our Patron Saint accompanied by our priests and a good number of parishioners to Paphos, on the feast of St Paul’s conversion and the concluding day of prayers for the unity of all Christians.

In St. Kyriaki Church Kato Paphos, near the pillar of St Paul, he was welcomed by the latin priest as well as the Anglican Pastor and he celebrated the Mass in the presence of the Metropolitan of Paphos and the Superior of St. Neophytos Monastery and Bishop of Hitron.

The Mass was followed by a cocktail in the Anglican Church Hall where everybody had the possibility to meet and discuss with our Archbishop.
